Location & Directions

The Turnpike Inn at Rishworth Moor is located at the foot of the beautiful Pennines and just two minutes from junction 22 of the M62. Junction 22 is the highest motorway point in England and is equidistant between Manchester and Leeds making The Turnpike Inn hugely accessible from East and West.

There is a popular public footpath running right past which links to the infamous Pennine Way and the inspiring expanse of Rishworth Moor. We welcome walkers and ramblers who find us the perfect stopping off point for a coffee or a well deserved beer. Equally we are visited by classic car clubs that find our large car park and close proximity to the motorway of huge benefit when meeting friends from all over.

We overlook Boothwood reservoir which makes for a fantastic view in every season, made even more special knowing others may be stuck in traffic on the motorway in the distance!

Directions

Take junction 22 of the M62 and turn toward Rishworth (right if heading west bound toward Manchester or left if heading east bound toward Leeds). Continue on this road for 2 miles and you will find us on the left hand side opposite Boothwood reservoir.
