The Turnpike Inn is proud to present it's 2011 Winter Menu Our exciting new menu is a creative mix of classic and inventive British cuisine, alongside dishes of European and Asian origin.
We have a dazzling array of steaks which have been selected from local farms and hung for a minimum of 28 days.
Our Chef’s Choices list is as strong as ever, as is our impressive vegetarian offering. Durning the winter months we are delighted to highlight the best game that the local area has to offer.
Along with sandwiches, salads, a children’s menu and a superb homemade selection of desserts, we cater for all tastes.
As always, an emphasis has been placed on the importance of fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
Also, we would like to remind all our customers, there is no better way to kickstart your day than here at The Turnpike. We are open every day for Breakfast from 9am till Midday (until 11am on a Sunday). To the rear of our menu you will find a fantastic array of breakfast dishes, all cooked to order, at superb prices.
Every weekend our kitchen team creates a mouthwatering specials menu, using the finest ingredients available that day.
Finally The Turnpike Sunday Carvery is an absolute must. Guaranteed to be a delicious feast - all of our meats are accompanied by fresh Yorkshire pudding, seasonal steamed and roast vegetables, dripping roast potatoes and of course our famous homemade gravy.
